AccessBank
opens another regional branch
AccessBank has opened a new branch in Salyan.
Baku, April 2, 2009.
AccessBank has opened a new branch in the town of Salyan.
The opening of this new branch not only increases the
number of branches to twenty-two but also extends AccessBank’s
regional branch network.
Each year AccessBank’s branch network
expands to cover more regions of Azerbaijan. With this
continual expansion, AccessBank offers people living
outside of the capital full access to banking products
and, in particular, supports business development in
the regions through the disbursement of business loans.
Many AccessBank regional branches, especially those
in Sheki and Ganja, are leaders in the number of loans
disbursed, which demonstrates the demand of local entrepreneurs.
Dr. Andrew Pospielovsky, General Manager of AccessBank,
greeting the opening of the new branch said: “Opening
of the new branch in Salyan is an important step in
the general strategy of the bank to provide access to
financial services to small business and Azerbaijanis
throughout the country. Increasing access to financial
services and developing the non-oil sector of the economy
of Azerbaijan are the main priorities of our bank and
its shareholders.”
The Salyan branch, like all other branches,
provides a full range of services for legal entities
and individuals, including international money transferring
systems, current and deposit accounts, VISA plastic
cards as well as disbursement of small business and
retail loans.
