AccessBank Opens Its Next Co-Branded Branch with Visa in Khankendi

10 December 2025
AccessBank continues to expand its presence across the regions of Azerbaijan. Together with Visa, the global leader in banking and digital payment solutions, the Bank announces the opening of its next co-branded branch in the city of Khankendi. This inauguration marks an important milestone in the full implementation of AccessBank’s 2025 Regional Development Plan and in further expanding its nationwide service network.

With the launch of the new branch, the total number of AccessBank branches has reached 38, extending the Bank’s service coverage to 24 regions. At a time when Karabakh is being reintegrated into the country’s economy, the Bank’s primary mission is to support the development of small and medium-sized businesses in the region, contribute to job creation, and improve access to financial services.

The opening ceremony was attended by AccessBank’s Chairman of the Management Board, Davit Tsiklauri, members of the executive team, Visa’s Country Manager for Azerbaijan and Regional Manager, Nurlan Hajiyev, Deputy Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi and the districts of Agdara and Khojaly, Sabuhi Gahramanov, as well as Rector of Karabakh University, Shahin Bayramov.

One of the key advantages of the new co-branded branch is the enhanced benefits and capabilities arising from the partnership with Visa. These include the introduction of modern payment technologies, fast transactions, and a secure payment infrastructure. This will enable both businesses and individual customers in Karabakh to make greater use of digital payment solutions.

Additionally, a free internet corner has been set up within the branch to facilitate access to digital services for local residents. This amenity provides uninterrupted internet access for both bank customers and nearby community members whenever needed.
AccessBank plans to continue expanding its service network in the Karabakh region, implementing new projects, and actively supporting the area’s economic revitalization.
